A Place to Dream
How fortunate I occupy this place
A rented loft that finally brings a smile
My castle lights my eyes upon my face
Oh, happy dwelling I, with pride, embrace
I needed you and searched the longest while
How grateful that in Hingham is this place
And now I must, with vigor, make my case
For comfort and adornment mixed with style
A bookshelf, desk and chair for eyes and face
To fill my rooms, I will not act in haste
My new interiors should now beguile
Humanity and art must be in place
So let me live in peacefulness and grace
My time and efforts need to be worthwhile
If I’m to walk with pride so I may face
My past and future days with no disgrace
For, I have yet to journey many miles
My dreams, not limited to time and place
A new foundation, this, my new home base
My sanctuary, palace, inward isle
Come visit me and witness what takes place
My Hall reflects desire on my face
