A Visit From the Water Sprite

Water sprite, water sprite
Shower me throughout the night
Spray me with your chilling mist
Douse me, drown me, I insist

Give me just a little splash
A tiny drop of liquid stash
Make me your receptacle
I’ll dance a fountain spectacle

Take me where your dragon flies
A willing convert to baptize
Dunk me in the sparkling lake
So I may swim for water’s sake

Misty fairy, I can’t wait
Perhaps you’d like to irrigate
Bless me with the heavens’ rain
Hydrate me and don’t restrain

Sprinkle me a little bit

I'll even take a little spit
It’s certain to invigorate
I need the extra water-weight

Once I take my fairy bath
I’m sure to take a better path
Soak me, drench me, get me wet
Refreshing precious fairy pet
