Batman at the Bar!
That man can what Batman can
With a page from Batman's plan
He plays the role much better than
Any DC Comic fan
When he's not the phantom spook
He takes the helm as Jean Luc
A slick Picard, no Klingon kook
His fitting form takes no rebuke
I'm told he often has a turn
To light the torch of Green Lantern
He dons the hues of forest fern
And wears the ring that fingers burn
I think that if you'd ever seen
His sideburns when he's not so clean
Like me you might be pretty keen
To see the blades of Wolverine
Perhaps if he dyed his hair blonde
His shape to Thor would correspond
With his hammer he could bond
To infinity... and beyond!
Now, I'm sure it's pretty clear
That I'm a fan of Buzz Lightyear
A Space Ranger without a peer
He flies a different ship, I fear
Pete doesn't always wear a cape
He often pours a glass of grape
From his martini's don't escape
He swears they'll keep you in good shape
Have your fill and get thee hence!
Before he starts to re-dispense
A drink to which there's no defense
I swear he has the Spidey-sense
I really do not have more time
To spend on this heroic rhyme
Such literary heights I climb
While that barman's fighting crime!
