The Lady is a Garment Rack
I own a lovely garment rack
My dearest, happy friend
She hangs my shirts and shopping bags
With hangers end-to-end
She is silver, shiny, flexible
She stands so proud and tall
A hat rack sits upon her head
For t-shirts, towels, and all
She can roll upon her wheels
Should I decide to sweep
For I don't like the dust to build
Where jeans and sweats I keep
In the corner of my room
A space that's small for me
She keeps it all together
So my floor is clothing-free
I gladly let her take command
She helps me organize
Reminds me that I live indoors
Where I my thoughts comprise
A thing of household beauty
I'm very glad she's there
And meet her friend, the dresser
A house for underwear!
