Dandelion Tea
A grumpy fae began the day
With dandelion tea
A lonely gal who needs a pal
Just one, or two, or three
Our Nature Mom with great aplomb
Took pity at this scene
Therefore she sends the sprite more friends
That live in forest green
In one fell swoop, now there's a group
Who love and play and share
And every smile will last a while
So sweet the freshened air
"New rule of thumb, I'll not be glum
Awareness I do pledge
Let spirits lift, enjoy the gift
Of flower, tree, and sedge!"
They drank more tea and sang with glee
Enjoyed their unique worth
As day took flight into the night
They praised the sacred Earth!

Five long clangs from the acorn clock rang out to the sleeping Fae, get up..get up...its time to start the day. June-morning scents from the roses in bloom were greeting her from the window nearby...But the lovely fae cared not, she just yawned and gave a sigh...where oh where are my leafy shoes?...has anyone seen my wand? I need a cup of dandelion tea, come on..hurry now, quickly bring it to me......Hush!! quiet!! little birds, tis to early for bird song as I start this dull day....No...little butterfly on the window sill, I dont care to see your winged play......... Hmmmm!!...sweetness of temper for this little fae seems to be gone...but now I see the problem here for this grumpy little Fae..far to long, no friend had knocked at her door, far to long no smile had she bore...far too long had no one cared to treat her tenderly...and I... Mother Nature,... seeing this sight...decided here and now to make it right....Knowing what her sadness bore...I will send a new friend to her door...laden with smiles to smitten thee..the new friend will introduce her to woodland friends galore...and a crown of love will be given thee....for love and kindness can soften any heart, and give this fae a better morning, a better day to start.© 6/4/12
