The Fairy Gift
A present fit for special kings
Providers of our homes and rings
A creature that will honor you
As long as you respect her wings
Let her sit upon your hand
To tell you stories of her land
Share with her some cakes and cream
Or stronger drink at her command
Now you have a precious friend
That does the otherworld portend
A window to a magic realm
That kings and subjects must defend
Where elves and dwarves and fairy-born
With dragons breathe the misty morn'
The gift of love is nurtured here
And freely roams the unicorn
Accept the spirit that you see
With fairies live in harmony
Protect the nature by your side
By a gracious king's decree
